My name is Robert. I’m the President of The Longevity Lifestyle. I’ve always been fascinated with life. As a kid I wanted to understand how everything worked. I took apart toys and electronics to understand what made them tick. I developed an interest in fitness in middle school, playing pick-up basketball/football and wrestling. In High School I continued participating in pick up sports with the additions of wrestling and strength training.
By college my desire to understand how things worked evolved to understanding how the body functions. I decided to major in Exercise Physiology to combine my love of fitness with my desire of understanding the human body. I continued strength training and transitioned from pick up sports to Self Defense Training. I also worked as a Personal Trainer and Science Tutor throughout college.
After finishing my degree I continued to work as a Personal Trainer and Science Tutor. My degree only scratched the surface of understanding the detailed functioning of the human body. To enhance my knowledge I read through complete texts books of Cell Biology, Human Physiology, Plant Physiology, Nutritional Sciences, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Biophysics and Anatomy.
After completing this project I made a decision to attend Medical School. I devised a detailed MCAT study schedule. While prepping for the MCAT I found YouTube videos by a man by the name of Paul CHEK. I found his videos interesting. I continued my normal MCAT prep schedule and watched his videos during my breaks. He spoke about and approached the concept of Health in a unique way. His approach invited me to question my methods.
After 4 months into my MCAT prep I made a decision to put Medical School on hold and dig deeper into the teachings of Paul CHEK and the extensive amount of resources he cited in his videos. I took my time carefully watching all of his videos and reading a gigantic list of books. I also worked through more text books… Medical Physiology, Agriculture, Book of Natural Medicine and Pharmacology. I continued working as a Personal Trainer and Science Tutor and noticed my training and tutoring methods changing for the better. My Personal Training Clients became healthier and my Tutoring Clients understood the material on a deep level.
I also noticed significant changes in my health, performance and body composition. I changed my (what I thought was perfect) diet to a rotational diet with organically farmed vegetables, fruits and organically farmed grass fed meats. I cut out all chemicals from my foods and hygiene products. I evolved my fitness training from a standard bodybuilding routine to a balanced system focusing on foundation training, corrective exercise, primal pattern training, strength training, power training and aesthetic training. I continued my self-defense training and balanced it with tai chi, yoga, meditation and Pilates. I changed my sleeping routine, now receiving over 8 hours of quality sleep every night.
After seeing the success of my Clients and myself I began structuring all of my learnings into a usable system that anyone could use to reach high levels of health, performance and aesthetics. This system is called The Longevity Lifestyle and my life is dedicated to teaching people how to live it. I made a decision to not attend medical school, however I’ve designed a new and exciting continuing educational path for myself.
